He's a good, reliable 7/10 performer every week. Sometimes 8/10. But with Stones and Laporte back fit, he should really be on the bench because we need better
Never 7/10. 6 at best. Take the blue tinted spectacles off. Watch him closely. Passes are sideways or backwards. Loses numerous headers. Loses possession regularly in dangerous positions. Should be 5th choice centre half at best. I’ll support him when he pulls the shirt on but he really isn’t a good defender. He's a good, reliable 7/10 performer every week. Sometimes 8/10. I stand by 7/10 because we need 9s and 10sNever 7/10. 6 at best. Take the blue tinted spectacles off. Watch him closely. Passes are sideways or backwards. Loses numerous headers. That’s probably why pep is a top manager and hmmm your are notI really don’t understand how he keeps getting game time. He’s a liability. Pep obviously sees something that I don’t, but it does baffle me. His passing is average, he panics when he’s pressed, he’s weak in the air and he’s not the quickest. Maybe I’m not seeing his true value but he really slows us down and in my opinion makes us weaker defensivel.
Hopefully now Stones is fit, he can resume his partnership with Dias. Not holding my breath thoughI hate putting a downer on a strong win but the performance from Akanji was awful. This is probably the third time in a row he has played like this.
Yep, 100% correct but I’m entitled to my opinion, just like ‘your’. Agree to disagree, that’s the beauty of football. That’s probably why pep is a top manager and hmmm your are not
I appreciate it's all about opinions, but to say he was awful today is well OTTI hate putting a downer on a strong win but the performance from Akanji was awful. This is probably the third time in a row he has played like this.
Nor do I, I thought he was fine tonight apart from one stupid free kick. It’s all about opinions and mine is no more important than the next man/women.
But I don’t get the dislike of the player on the forum ( I appreciate it’s not personal)

...early Zabba to be fair. Was a proper Zabba stupid foul that one, no idea why he did it haha.
Nope. Akanji Dias works. Duo for the big games.Decent enough although I want Laporte to get back into match contention soon.
That’s the issue though. Brain farts in every performance and it will cost us.Dias is far better on the left though. Actually thought Akanji played well apart from a few brain farts.
You might but it seems Guardiola doesn’t. For some reason Akanji fits the bill and to be fair to him, for most of the season he’s done what he’s been asked to do.Decent enough although I want Laporte to get back into match contention soon.
Stones is back now so you'd think he'd be the one to replace him. That’s the issue though. Brain farts in every performance and it will cost us.
Dortmund were all too happy to let him leave on the cheap too, he really doesn’t fill me with confidence.Never 7/10. 6 at best. Take the blue tinted spectacles off. Watch him closely.
