An absolute unit with everything. His runs beyond in the advanced role have been fantastic recently too. As have his first time left footed crosses!

Akanji has been magnificent this season, what a hell of a signing he has been.

Just thinking about this player and what an unbelievable buy he has been. £15m is nothing in the game but he pretty much stepped up instantly and has developed from there. Well done to Manu and to our scouting team.

Agree he's had a good season and was an absolute snip (funny the media walkers never mention that) but think some of thd games where he played the Stones role were OK but not great. Think player ov ghd season is Phil vs Rodfi and 1 other

Goes to show that managers like Pep can make players just better! Dortmund fans were delighted he was leaving and laughed that we even paid £15m for him but what a player! Seems a really good bloke as well , been one of most consistent performers this season, may even get a new and improved contract soon.
