He doesn't provide the stability that Ake and Walker do.

I think he should get some time in the RW over Mahrez, Mahrez has been playing there like every game, and it would be nice to see a classical right footed right winger again there, seems like Sterling is LW or striker for us now.
 
Such an unnecessary signing. Walker plays pretty much every game and has an incredible injury record, it made absolutely no sense to get a backup for 60m. He’s absolutely not a LB, should only play on the right side, but as long as Walker is fully concentrated, he is undroppable
 
A lot of unfair criticism, we all know he’s not especially good defensively we didn’t buy him expecting a good defender but he’s very dynamic on the ball and is a threat going forward. Wasn’t standout today but wasn’t as bad as some comments on here would suggest. He’s playing out of position remember and deserves some leeway because of it.

So you’d rather we had no backup right back? Laporte didn’t get injured either until he got injured. The fee was inflated because the Danilo fee received was equally inflated, we had the money to spend so we bought what was deemed the best on the market which is exactly what we should be doing
