He was shit tonight and Pep rightfull called him out post match.

Zinchenko is a better left back and would have done a lot more to help Rodri and Gundogan in midfield too.

I understand why Walker has to play some games but I really wish we'd just play Cancelo at RB.

Yes he was bad, but constantly swapping him left, right, left, right is always a bad idea to me, never develops rhythm in a position.

Not an excuse mind you, and I know he has played well there, I just don't think it's good for the player.

World class some games, then he has the odd when he plays like Wayne Bridge.

He was poor tonight, but I don’t know why Pep doesn’t just allow him to play in his best position. He will be in the Prem TOTS at right back, why do we move him to accommodate that dozy fucker Walker? We have been comfortable with Zinchenko at LB all season, but if we have to move the best RB in the Prem, to LB in a CL QF, we need a new LB.

Not at his best tonight but need to remember he's had a brilliant season.

Expressed my concern at him on the left pre-match and it showed tonight. I know he can use his left foot very well but he won't naturally do it which means he's cutting inside constantly which shortens the pitch dramatically and usually leaves him with only 1 pass on and possibly the big switch and then we become predictable.

We need a left footer at left back, we have plenty of options, and we especially need it when both our centre backs are right footed. I blame Pep for his poor display tonight, he set him up to have a poor game out of position. unless he plays further up the pitch, against the big sides, it's him or walker on the right not both

Terrible match. Being on the left is not an excuse for failing 60% of easy passes, for his bad defense and terrible movements. Anyway, I think Zinchenko should be playing as LB, and Walker/Cancelo as RB. He still is one of the bright spots of this season, but he hasn't been the same for the last month or so.

In his defence he is judged like no other player in our squad. Look at what he is being picked apart for tonight. He is being critiqued for being a RB, playing LB but not tucking in to assist at CDM. As a pure full back, he was no worse at LB, than Walker was at RB.

What other top team, drops their 1st choice LB (which based on what’s gone before Zin is) and replaces hIm with their 1st choice RB, so that the 2nd choice RB can play? Only for the 2nd choice RB go to sleep and us concede. It’s fucking stupid and yeah, Cancelo was poor tonight but the guy is not a fucking miracle worker.

No worse than Walker at right back , what game were you watching ? Walker got forward a dozen times past Dortmunds full back , Cancelo did absolutely nothing offensively , and Cancelo was signed because he can play both full back positions , Walker is still our first choice right back
If we need to keep it tight at Dortmund next week the full backs are Walker and Zinchenko
