Not everybody needs an end product. We had Doku, Haaland, Alvarez and Foden on the pitch today for that.

A very strange variation in opinions about his performance - I suspect it reflects the high emotion following a loss. I thought he was good, and certainly performed ahead of Kovacic and Phil. I was surprised when he was subbed but perhaps it was more a case of managing emotions than performance.

I'm pretty sure you're serious but I hope you're not. He gave away a ball leading to a counter once(albeit from a poor pass from Ake IIRC) but other than that he was our best player in the first half in my eyes.

Absolutely bizarre that he was subbed versus Kovacic. Alebit not saying much but he was our best player in the first half IMO.

He and Doku were the only ones taken on players and destabilizing the defense. Almost got his head to a decent chance too.


I think Foden stayed on coz subbing him might have rocked his confidence. As he has been getting subbed a lot lately.

But it should have been Kova off first if not Phil. But oh well.

Been at the club a month, in a team that is missing a ridiculous level of quality.

Think he's done alright overall and was fine in the 1st half, looking forward to seeing how he develops in the squad.
