He needs more playing time. But City obviously cannot provide him with enough time. If the situation continues, he will become the another Phillips. I think he should seek a loan in the summer of 2024 or transfer in the summer of 2025. This will benefit both him and the club.
So we loan nearly £100mill worth of players out because Phillips and Nunes aren’t good enough to play in City’s 1st team. A great bit of transfer business by City. Not to mention their wages. No wonder season ticket prices increased between 5 and 10%. We could have kept Gundo and Mahrez for nothing, with offers of more money and a 2 year contract instead.

About the worst take I've seen on any player not to mention forgetting two major things.

1. Those dropped points early on in the season have really hampered Pep's ability to give new players minutes who need time to grow into the team.

2. That is resulting in Rodri being overused and even Kovacic struggles to get into the team.

This is not a normal season.. where we would have the luxury to to rest Rodri and take a chance bedding in new players, we don't have that luxury. This season is currently being held together by a hope and a prayer and an overworked midfield so it's not fair to judge incoming players on that little of time.

Nunes will definitely get a 2nd season.. a loan will do nothing other than to publicly announce he's not in our plans just like Cancelo/ Kalvin.

Kids get loans, senior players don't!

This was a good first half from him, imo. Think he looks like a decent footballer, smooth and cool on the ball, long reach, good in small spaces, tougher than he looks. I think he will kick on once has a better idea of what Pep wants from him and how our midfield works. Could see him playing anywhere on the pitch for Pep.

It's a nightmare.
Ticket prices increased 5% being the best football club in the world winning dozens of trophies.

We wish those prices hadn't gone up, and go back to 2007, when finishing tenth in the Premier was a milestone and zero championships were won

We cannot make the same 'Kalvin Phillips' mistake with this guy, we can't even flog Phillips off to a mid table team he's so bad. Get Nunes gone in summer he's never making the grade here.

Don’t know about Mahrez but having read the article on Gundo, he was going. So nothing you can do.
