New Delph

And I have nothing against if so

Just seems he dont fiting the midle

The difference is pep has started Nunes in a game we had to win pep hasn't started Philips in any game that we have to win! This means pep trusts Nunes he knows he can improve him, he takes what pep tells him on Board!
This is true.
I like the analogy of Rodri someone mentioned, remember when some City fans were calling him Plodri.
Now look at him.
There is some reason why Pep won't play Kalvin, maybe he refuses to adapt or something whereas Nunes is following Pep's instructions in training so he's getting chances. I personally think Nunes will fit well for us eventually.
The last few posts disappoint me, he's only been here 5 minutes.
It's not easy slotting into the worlds best team.

I watched Nunes particularly closely this game because i was curious what skill set city saw in him . He's got great control and pace over a short distance. He can dribble. His short range passing is quick and forward usually but 50/50 accuracy. He loses possession easily when under pressure. He has a shit shot. Works hard. Has a quality dentist. The Jury is adjourned until 2024.

Hi Garth.

nunes was unfortunate he came in in the worst possible game and then got injured, now he is finding his feet, but I do think he is the type that needs a run of games to get his rythm going not in and out
will he come good? he has shown attributes to say he can flourish in a team playing our style, it is if he tkes on the opportunity to.

Him and Kova has only just arrived in what is a squad managed by the most intense manager there is, both have done fairly well but both are still adapting and only time will tell, but both can do a job for us

I'm convinced this guy can do a job for us.

He's never going to put up flashy numbers of goals and assists, but his runs create massive spaces for everyone and tie defenders in knots.

He's not going to be KDB, Gundogan, Rodri or anyone like that but it's almost like he's the Gabby Jesus replacement with his industrious hard working nature and running all over the field.

We definitely can use someone like that in our squad as Bernardo sometimes looks fatigued over the course of a season.
