odd signing, we missed out on Bellingham, Rice, Paqueta but wanted to sign someone deffo to make up numbers, but Nunes is certainly a lot lesser midfielder than any of the three...
I cannot imagine those three would have been sitting on the bench a lot if we sign any of them (even Paqueta would have cost 80m+)
he will only get limited playing time so for him to make it at City is as squad player at best, he probably could be a starter at a level like Newcastle, Villa, Spurs...
he should have some great resale value , 35-40m we could charge someone imo even at summer 2025 so not too worried.

Its one thing having a bad game as it happens to all players but what supporters really dislike is lack of effort and ducking out of challenges. He did plenty of the latter today and he was getting plenty of criticism from everyone around me.
Hopefully we don't have a Phillips-esque death spiral where his appearances become less and less due to poor performances leading to a complete and utter paralysing loss of confidence.

I’ve not seen a replay of that yet but on first viewing it looked like Nunez was favourite for that ball? Did he pull out? Disappointing if he did.Did think he could have got there first half and pulled out when Pickford came.
Whether true or not he should have gone for it, if he got a booking so what.
