Seems a whole lot more assured playing deeper. Not fair to judge, given that he came on when we were 4-0 up against a team decimated by injuries, but he looked like he knew what his orders were, and he knew how to carry them out.

Not the time to start him, especially as we no longer need to rotate, but next season will be one to watch. Well done, mate. More of this.

Nunes will be decent for next season although could do with signing another midfielder along with in the summer. He has succeeded where Kavin Phillips failed

Polar opposites.
Phillips didn't want the ball and when he had it he wanted rid. Nunes, when he has the ball is looking for the pass to create space or to hold the possession. It might not work out, but he is looking more comfortable every game, still think there is something there.
