“According to a new report”…. “could”… “consider”.

The internet is full of speculation, gossip and unattributed shite. There are people in mud huts with supposed hotlines to Txiki and Pep. People who couldn’t find Mcr on a map.

Not worth clicking on these “sources” let alone quoting them.

The fact we actually signed him should tell you everything, he’s simply a bang average footballer, mediocre at best and a reflection of our transfer policy over the last couple of years.

None of the others gifted the rags a lifeline, with 3 minutes to go.
For most of us, it's the most important game of the season.
When all is said and done, no one will remember him being our 4th best player of the season. He will be remembered for his brain fart.
I actually like Nunes and think there is a decent player there. But, he's done absolutely nothing in a blue shirt to justify glossing over yesterday's shitshow. At the moment, it's his defining moment as a City player.
That's the enigma isn't it.
I think there's a decent player there, I just don't see where that is for us consistently
Sunday therefore marked the end for him - that last 10 minutes summed up his time at City, he just has a mistake or two every game which we can't afford

I genuinely feel sorry for him. And I don't think that he should take all the blame.

It was his first time to play as a fullback and he was tasked with very complicated role. Sometimes as a wing back sometimes inverted and to make things worse Rag clearly targeted him. In the end he was exhausted.

Personally I think that our way of playing is too difficult for average players. And with the charges and new FFP rules we have to accept those average players to fill the squad and do their bits. We should build a system to get the best of the squad instead of trapping in a system that get half of the team exposed.

It is the club responsibility to bring in fullbacks and they failed to do it for years. The lack of traditional left backs is killing all our left winger's confidence (Grealish Doku and Sterling before them) and make our left center backs life difficult (Josko Ake and Laporte before them).
