Looked impressive today - maybe there's a player there after all. Problem is he's shown it on the left, less important than the middle atm for me. - but if we ever have wingers fit how do we get him in the team.

Pep player second season strikes again. When the match day team is announced, he’s gone from the sticking out like a sore thumb to not noticing his name and maybe even a nod of approval.. inside a month, He’s arrived and feels a city player now and looks like he feels he belongs.

Now another fantastic option for our squad.

4 years after the heartbreak we've finally replaced Leroy Sane!

A winger with pace and can produce goals.
Backtracks on defense
Good crosses, eye for an assist.
And that goal in the champions league really seems to have made him confident that he belongs in the team.

A bit of a mystery originally like Cancelo (why did we buy him?) but it seems Pep has figured out where to use his talent even if it's not midfield.

Not that he'll listen to me, but I suggest finally moving Grealish to the middle as Gundogan sticks out like a sore thumb at the moment!

Lets just say we're all glad he's not a waste of 55 mil and we have a player with a totally unique skillset that we didn't have before.

Steady on lol

the story of the season so far: a player of two halves currently. he needs to stay consistent if he wants to play regularly once we overcome the injury crisis

7 goal involvements for Nunes vs 1 for Grealish.

Maybe it's Grealish and the other wingers who need to be more productive if they want to play regularly once they are fit.

i knew it. I have been defending him from day 1 despite his unconvincing performances because he always had these raw qualities that are currently on show. He just needed a proper chance and some time; voila!

Undroppable at the moment, he is one of our best players in recent weeks, MOTM last night. We need his energy in midfield right now. I love Gundo to bits but he shouldn't be a starting player for us anymore, more like a super sub.

Had to bide his time but he’s making the most of our current situation, didn’t realise how versatile he is too. Going to be so so important for us this season

Whilst he has had a cracking few weeks , I still think his decision making is poor. Massively inconsistent and often goes missing.

How quick is he? Had the young lad from Leeds on toast.
He does have that deceptive change of pace doesn’t he that I think suprised players. Seen him do it a few times now where he just slows the ball and the defender down and suddenly he’s gone with the ball. Really great surprise seeing him play so well and we bloody need it at the moment.

Not sure that applies in our team. Possibly with the exception of Haaland does this apply. Played well last night and was our best player on the night. It’s obvious his confidence has heightened with each appearance. For me though, needs to look up when making his final pass instead of just knocking it in the box, although nowhere near as erratic as Doku.

no doubt that he can produce numbers, but he needs to stay switched on the whole game, not for 1 half, in order to be up in the pecking order when our wingers return

I think you are a bit harsh. Nunes has played 3 games in a week, and it's understandable that he is a bit tired, he hasn't played so much for 15 months.
