Is it bad ?

If we get 3 high quality players on RB, CB and DM positions.
Plus the best player in world football comes back
Oscar Bobb.
Exciting talent Echeverri
Phil with his regained form

Let's remember that after 19/20 we signed Ake, Ruben and Ferran Torres and we started to win again.
Pep introduced Phil with his new role and I think Oscar Bobb will play similar role.

I don't think we need that many transfers.

TBF till we got additional injuries and Kova / Ruben were out, we had a very good start, even without Rodri

I'd say it is groundbreaking compared to the productivity of most of our other attacking options.

Anyway no one is claiming he's Messi, we're just happy to see he's doing a bit better than last year and without his goals and assists we'd be in even more trouble.

Is for me but its all opinions etc. Ake, Stones, Kova, McAtee, Nunes, Jack, could probably all be improved on.

A lot of those games are 2 minute run outs. He's played roughly 1k minutes this season and has 9 contributions. that's a very good return for anybody.

Jack grealish apparently has 25 hours of gametime under his belt since he last scored for us, if thats the bar, then it probably could be described as groundbreaking. On the other end of the scale, Phil foden got 39 g/a in 4200 minutes last season winning player of the year. His current output is very healthy, just needs to continue it.

I agree he’s improved. Aside from putting a great cross in yesterday he did nothing. Rico came up with a cracking finish yesterday but was poor in general. Just don’t see him being the answer on the left long term whereas Doku could be. If he can’t get a game in his natural position at the moment with how poor we’ve been will it ever happen!

Don’t think it’s a bad squad, I’d replace McAtee in it with a good signing ,just to throw a name in lets say Wirtz.but with a good C/ M that covers Rodri and a good right back . I could see something like that next season.

Well, good header from Haaland but yeah i’d say only Dias played well. Nunes made Trent look good defensively at Anfield but again nobody else played particularly well. Bit of a flawed logic though that isn’t it? As it’s not as if he didn’t see plenty of the ball yesterday and barely got at his man. Like saying don’t say Lewis isn’t good enough because Walker was worse.

not alot of goals in it, outside of Foden & Haaland.

Doku, Savio, McAtee, Nunes, Kova, Bobb, all questionable scorers in decent number, hope for someone else of WC quality in the 8 as well in that incoming.

Yes, thats why think replacing KDB and McAtee with a creative goalscoring 10 is a priority this summer., and getting Foden scoring again.Though I thing Savinho ,Bobb and Doku,all capable of adding goals.

The point is that the ridiculous singling out that applies to only some of the team is bizarre. I was trying to gauge your thoughts on team performance because I believe that someone who has nine goal involvements in 1000 minutes, and is the current player of the month is a strange choice to be singled out, especially given the improvements he has made. I thought he was one of our better players yesterday.
 
Somehow this guy has got 3 goals and 6 assists in all competitions despite limited playing time and playing mostly out of position, what does that say about some of our attacking players ?

Fair enough. I’ve not slagged him off just can’t see him nailing down a spot on the left wing long term.

Of those 11 games.. he played 1 minute in 4 of them.
4 minutes in 1 of them.

So basically 3 assists in 6 games.

I don't think that's horrible considering the rest of the team can't seem to get balls through to Haaland.
