One game at a time.
look what happened when we all thought we'd bagged the FA Cup after beating Chelsea
Don't think many are saying we will do it, it's just nice to see we are being suggested for it, and that people are taking note of out form.
Personally I think we will win league and league cup, which would be perfect.

i have no issue with us all talking about it, its a damn site better than us counting how many more points we need to avoid relegation, but the best way to approach momentous tasks is to take it one step at a time
personally a cup final in Lisbon would be my choice

This quadruple talk is all fantasy stuff. We will be saying England have a good chance of winning the World Cup next.

The thing is the probability of England winning the World Cup is higher than City getting the quadruple. Well that is the case as reflected by the betting odds:

England to win the World Cup - c30/1

City to get quadruple - 80/1

Rag mates are saying make sure you win 1 of them because you know what happened to Arsenal when Birmingham beat them in the final

I had a play around with some numbers a few days back. At this moment in time, given how we are positioned, City's chance of winning the following competitions could be something like:

* League Cup: 60%
* Premier League: 40%
* FA Cup: 10%
* Champions League: 5%

Multiplying all those through, City's chance of a quadruple = 0.12%

Or, expressed another way, a 99.88% chance that we won't win it.

Even if you added 10% to each of those percentages above (i.e. 70%, 50%, 20%, 15%) it's still only a 1% chance !!!

On that basis odds of 80/1 don't seem very attractive TBH.

I don't expect us to win the quadruple at all. To many teams in the way for us to do this. If we can win a trophy either the Capital One cup or the F.A. Cup that will do me. The premier ship will be hard as we still have to go to Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham, and the rags so it will be hard to win the premiership this year.

Ignoring clubs in mickey mouse leagues (including Scotland) only 3 teams have ever achieved a 'major' quadruple

Barcelona 2009-10, Porto 2010-11 and Bayern 2012-13 (Santos, Sao Paulo and Galatasary have also managed it plus some mickey mouse sides). Celtic managed 5 in 1966-67. So in the history of football globally it's only been done 16 times and that includes Valetta (Malta) ;-)

<a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_association_football_teams_to_have_won_four_or_more_trophies_in_one_season" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_as ... one_season</a>

For a recognised treble with continental competition only 18 teams have managed it, realistically only 7-8 count as major clubs. For a domestic treble only 35 clubs have managed it and of those only 3 are European 'major sides'.

<a class="postlink" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treble_(association_football" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Treble_(as ... n_football</a>)

Much as I'd like to see it the chances are vanishingly small for both a quadruple and a domestic treble. At the moment I'd be happy with 1 (hopefully PL), made up by 2 (PL and LC) and ecstatic with 3 - I can't see 4 being achievable but if it happened I'd be drunk for a fortnight.......

Nice work -simply re-inforces how improbable this is!

always said I would be Happy if we did The Double as City have never done it

however as we are in the final of the league Cup we could do a domestic Treble
