A few on here dont rate Ederson , name a better keeper in the Premier league then , Allison has made loads of mistakes this season , his distribution bordering on the comical , and nearly every other keeper proior to Sunday's game has conceded at least twice as many goals.
No such thing as the perfect goalkeeper its the most unforgiving position on a football field , but Ederson will win far more points for us than we will lose because of his rare mistakes.
Some posters on here need to get a grip and reflect on how fortunate we are to have a keeper in place who has the potential to become one of the best ever , over the next few seasons.

Those who question Eddie need to give their heads a wobble
Seriously who else would you rather have ?
Look at Mendy (WHU) DeGea (everyone ) and Allison (Spurs) they have all made high profile mistakes
Eddie played well against Leicester and made some fantastic saves that helped secure the points
With his feet there is no-one close to him
He dominates the box and deals with crosses confidently and supremely
Top top keeper ...simple

I look at the usernames of those who don’t rate him then give a wry smile.
Very little makes them happy. No idea how they got through the 90,s and early 2000’s! Haha!

Very good match with a mistake on the 3rd goal. I was actually impressed with one of his saves because he was way quicker than he normally is. His anticipation was top-notch as usual.

This thread is really weird though, there are far more messages defending him and saying he’s the best than posts criticizing him. There’s even a post from someone who says he is the best PL GK, but he made a mistake on the 3rd goal, and immediately there were people replying like the other said Ederson is shit.

I don’t get why to get so defensive when someone points out a mistake or an aspect that a player can improve.

I think a lot of that is due to the " tone " and nature of the comments made .

There are always posters who want to find fault rather than post constructive criticism .

And I suspect that Ederson himself is one of his biggest critics and will be thinking he could have done better.
