Still some fucking weirdo nutters in the match thread somehow managed to blame him
He didn’t , it was Walker who headed it behind. Can't believe he set their goal up by putting that shot out for a corner
Because the goal was absolutely on him. He made one decent save on that long range effort. He has (once again) made an error in the knock out stage for us.Still some fucking weirdo nutters in the match thread somehow managed to blame him

One decent save? so what about when he cut out the cross at the front post for a tap in at the back? What about when he came out to deny silva after he danced past akanji? Two goal-preventing pieces of goalkeeping right there.Because the goal was absolutely on him. He made one decent save on that long range effort. What error did he make?Because the goal was absolutely on him. He made one decent save on that long range effort. He has (once again) made an error in the knock out stage for us.
Joe Hart was the best keeper in the country if not the world for a couple of seasons , because Pep came in and wanted a ball playing keeper , it should not taint how brilliant Joe was at his peak. With all respect but golden gloves is about clean sheet only. They don't take any other factors into consideration. The way City played will help any keeper to get more clean sheet. Take Joe Hart as an example, he got it 4 times.
You’re correct. He definitely didn’t cover himself in glory for their goal. I don’t think he’s ever reaching it if he comes out and reads it correctly (punch at best), but on the other hand, does he stop a header like that from such close range? Not convinced he’s got much chance of effecting the result, but the optics are bad, watching him flap about in no man’s land.I'll repeat, I tthink this was Ederson's best game of the season and he made some good saves, but I am kinda scared with some Ederson fans. Already 2-3 posts with people saying he didn't make any mistake on their goal.
If you go for a cross and you are not even close to claim it, that is a big mistake no matter how you put it.
Apart from the goal. Where he flapped like the flappiest flapper that ever flapped.Thought he was great tonight.
If he was at his peak, then why he failed when he left City. The reality is he benefited from City playing style but when he moved to other clubs his weakness were exposed and thus he failed.Joe Hart was the best keeper in the country if not the world for a couple of seasons , because Pep came in and wanted a ball playing keeper , it should not taint how brilliant Joe was at his peak.
