If Pep didn’t think Ederson was the best keeper, he’d have been sold, just like Hart was.

Pep loves Ederson though. He probably thinks he’s better than Neuer because of his unique passing ability, reading of the game and keeping abilities.

By Russian standards he played in a "great " Dynamo Moscow side for 20 years with 5 Russian titles to his name. Only keeper ever to win Ballon D'or, saved over 150 penalties in his career. If you haven't previously, just look at the list of honours he won. I really liked Nicky, but apart from being both keepers, there is no comparison imo.

Pep probably thinks Ederson is better than Neuer?!! Neuer is as good as a sweeper as Ederson if not better(he is much quicker than Ederson and just remembering his game against Algeria 2014 WV gives me shivers), his passing is almost as good as Ederson, and his shot-stopping abilities are way WAAY better than Ederson. It's like comparing Foden to Messi. Impossible to compare the best GK of the last 20-30 years to Ederson

We already balls deep into possession/tika -taka system. Asking for defensive/counter attacking minded manager coaching our team after replacing Pep is just inviting trouble.

Not only replacing one or two key starting player which is not very cheap, but also retraining them for atleast one or two season to adapt new system which is out of question.

More importantly as long Txixi our DoF in charge, there will be no way he appoint that kind of manager (the likes of Ancelloti, Conte and Mourinho) managing our team.
