He has held off Ortega long enough and only recently Ederson has been picking up more injuries.Does more like Ederson does not like a challange
Yeah, you can see that when Ortega never lost a game this season (with a starting team), and he played some of the toughest matches (Tottenham twice away, Liverpool away, Arsenal, adrid away...) and he barely received any goals. We’d be forced to go for a number 2 because we’d royally piss off Ortega otherwise. And instead of solving an under appreciated goalkeeper situation, we’d just be creating another.
And for the record, it’d be a significant downgrade. Ortega has been great, but people will realise what we’re missing when he’s our no.1. When our build up isn’t as reliable, when we face more shots without Ederson’s ability to prevent shots from even happening. Ortega saved the 1v1 but then he was also forced to make other saves that Ederson would have come out and nipped in the bud. Ortega was rooted to his line on 3 occasions. Over the course of a season, I’d be willing to bet that shot PREVENTION is better than shot stopping.
When you see the comments online, you understand why Ederson feels like this though. The disrespect is off the charts.
So strange, this. In his prime and (supposedly) ready to leave for Saudi.
Pure speculation but maybe his frustration at Spurs was because he knew/thought that would be his final game for us?
Well spottedIf you’d only waited for it to garner one more comment before you posted that…..
This is the only relevant post today.Nonsense.
Looks like it’s been updated ;-)Well spotted
The guy gets a lot right, he has his haters but he gets a hell of a lot of correct info.He could make that article about any player. If the Saudi’s want a player and offer huge money, the player might move.
What, being taken off for having a fractured eye socket ?Me thinks he’s seen his arse after Spurs and has fed some information somewhere as a result.
He acted like someone that had been ko'd and hadn't processed what was going on.What, being taken off for having a fractured eye socket ?
If he's seen his arse over that, then he's welcome to go for me.
It was a safety issue, and the club took his safety very seriously, and he acted like a twat on the bench.
Agreed, which was why his safety was protected. He acted like someone that had been ko'd and hadn't processed what was going on.
In opposition, he reads the market better than Jordan belfortThe guy gets a lot right, he has his haters but he gets a hell of a lot of correct info.
If he wasn't he wasn't he did a bloody good impression of someone that was in the clip that i saw.Agreed, which was why his safety was protected.
Not sure he was ever ko'd though.
He looked out cold to me that’s why they didn’t show replays and panned away whilst he was being treatedAgreed, which was why his safety was protected.
Not sure he was ever ko'd though.
