Anyone who thinks that Ortega is better than Ederson is an ungrateful fan, after all those years...

Ederson is the best player when it comes to passing the ball and delivering, etc.
Can't remember serious mistake from him, that lead to goal
Saves the shots that are savable and that's enough for me..

Al that bullshit with - "Oh Ortega is so good as a keeper"... LOL, let's remember why Joe Hart was sold. Our keeper needs to have certain set of skills and should be unique. Ederson is unique..

Ortega is the best as a second choice keeper, but as a n1, after Ederson he will be a serious downgrade.

We need Eddie, our keeper and true legend. Hopefully he stays and continues.

I don't think it's unreasonable for people to sing Ortegas praises after recent performances. He's been excellent in the games he's had to play in. Ederson has been amazing the last 7 years, but to say Ortega is a serious downgrade is utter nonsense.

Ederson is the better keeper..

Sometimes people look at someone from the bench making 1-2 good performances and "oh, he is better than our regular starter player". No, legacy means something, reputation and background is important..

Ortega is Ortega.

Ederson is Ederson and nothing can change that.

Same happened with Doku.
Made one great performance against Bornemouth and somehow people started to compare him with Grealish, who was integral part of whole treble season. Then they found out after like 2-3 months that one performance isn't enough and what Grealish did for whole season was important and more difficult, stability is the most important thing and Doku who couldn't score like for 4-5 months after that Bornemouth game, showed that you shouldn't have that kind of approach with regular starters and so called "bench" players need more than 1-2 performances to show that they are better.

What has Grealish got to do with the goalkeeping position.

You're entitled to your opinion, Ederson has been a big part of our history. He will always have a special place in fan's hearts.

However Ortega hasn't made '1-2 good performances'. He's been man of the match for City in at least 4 games, over his time, a feat which Ederson has never achieved for City.

We are lucky to have 2 excellent keepers, Ederson who has the best distribution in world football and Ortega who imo has greater athleticism, quicker reactions, better reading of the game with very good distribution. Personally I think Ortega is a slightly better keeper overall.

It doesn't make fans disloyal or ungrateful to appreciate alternative strengths and weaknesses of our 2 keepers, particularly when sadly it looks like we might lose one this summer.

Pure speculation but maybe his frustration at Spurs was because he knew/thought that would be his final game for us?

Lol, he is not going anywhere , he is injured so it easy to say he is not happy , the media want him gone as he starts everything off
