I know it comes with the territory of being a goalkeeper, but it's disappointing to see no love here. It's scary to think how great Brentford's press would have looked if we didn't have a keeper with his quality to use a pressure release. Watching their goal back, it sure looks like Stones just completely shanks the clearance, as I saw some people blaming him for it.

More assists than Antony, by the way.

My man of the match. As I said in that thread, Kept us in it esrly on, his sweeping was top notch and his distribution was exemplary, it was the only thing Brentford couldn't cope with. I think we take a beating today without him.

I don’t know of a keeper who was a better football player. Credit to MotD this evening for highlighting how good he is. His vision and choice of pass is absolutely outstanding, as is his execution of passes.

Some good goalkeeping today too. Thought he was a bit unlucky on their goal.

I thought the Brentford goalies distribution was pretty bloody good too. Not to mention his shot stopping. His performance was the closest I have seen to Eddie in a while.
