A good keeping performance won us 3 points.
Good ? Bloody great mate ;)A good keeping performance won us 3 points.
They all seem to have dementia as they'll say it not a week after he's earned us points with vital saves. The ones who say he can’t save anything are frankly barmy
Hope he signs a new contract and looks like we need to sign a new goalie Ortega wants more game time wants out in January
not seen that, did wonder why we were linked to the Lille keeper today.Hope he signs a new contract and looks like we need to sign a new goalie Ortega wants more game time wants out in January
He saved two one on ones and the last goal was set up by him !I was at the game but feel like I have missed something. I do love Ederson but I get equally frustrated with him a lot too so maybe my thoughts are tainted slightly? He saved a couple of close shots from Traore but what saves did he make that justified the overaction of a performance? It was a game we have conceded two more goals in, bad defending more than anything to do with Ederson on that front, if any of the ones he saved had gone in then serious questions would have been asked surely? I think because he doesn't make a load of saves we are overhyping bog standard saves? I don't know. He helped us on Saturday but without sounding like Keane, that's his job and it's about time he has been the last line of defence and pulled us out the shit in my opinion. Hope he keeps it up.
He has been criticised in the past for not being good enough on ones on ones, so surely he deserves great credit when the opposite happens?I was at the game but feel like I have missed something. One on one three times no goals - are you for realI was at the game but feel like I have missed something. I know, that was my point, he as a goalkeeper made two saves. Not worldies, just decent saves, in a game we have conceded two more at home.He saved two one on ones and the last goal was set up by him !
Praise - absolutely. I just think it was a bit ott all things consideredHe has been criticised in the past for not being good enough on ones on ones, so surely he deserves great credit when the opposite happens?
Why does blocking two one on ones and setting up a goal not merit praise ? I very much doubt you were there or one of usI know, that was my point, he as a goalkeeper made two saves. Not worldies, just decent saves, in a game we have conceded two more at home.

Why are you worried about people praising our keeper? I honestly dont understand. You’re saying he deserves credit, but not too much?I know, that was my point, he as a goalkeeper made two saves. Not worldies, just decent saves, in a game we have conceded two more at home.

Worried? I am not. I am on a football forum discussing different topics. If I am in the wrong place just let me know, reading this thread the clamour to overhype normal things from a keeper I found a bit mad that's all. I love Ederson, he is key to a lot we do but simply being our last line of defence is the bare minimum surely? Why are you worried about people praising our keeper? I honestly dont understand. You’re saying he deserves credit, but not too much?
What a weird weird statement. Ederson saving us (a goalkeepers job) is what he is there for? I can't think of the last world class save that dug us out of the shit from him which is probably why everyone is getting giddy over a normal goalkeeping performance. The OP sounds like a pissed-off tory supporter.
Why is there another member firstly accusing me of not being a blue, and making wild statements that I wasn't there (based on nothing) from a fan who doesn't go to any games herself. The fucking irony. Why does blocking two one on ones and setting up a goal not merit praise ? I very much doubt you were there or one of us
