Don't understand why he played today. Ortega had been doing absolutely fine and is obviously the better shot-stopper. Eddie's key advantage is obviously his distribution but he booted it straight to a red shirt so many times today. And any time there's a pen against us with him in net, you already know it's a goal.

His kicking was terrible all game, he didn't look his usual calm self and kept punting balls first time straight back to them. Onana was far better with the ball.

I am honestly surprised Pep didnt sub him for the penalty, it would go from 100% chance of a goal to the usual ~80% with Ortega in net.

A vital interception in the second half with a couple of decent stop, and if it wasn't for Nunes indvidual mistake it would have contributed to a decent win. He still gets the nod for this season.

I watched Villa yesterday and their bellend of a keeper made more saves you wouldn’t expect in ten minutes than Ederson has done in 18 months. Get fucking rid. His hearts not in it. He’s been protected for years by a dominant team, he’s not who we need when he actually needs to do his fucking job.
