Now confirmed

I think he makes it with us. I know that in recent history, it has only ever worked out for Zinchenko (I wouldn't count Angelino and his buy-back), but I have a sneaky feeling he will have a great season in Spain and become a solid player for us in the future.

Me too. I think he's getting the McAtee development loan where if it goes well, he'll take a major step forward in Pep's trust of him as he'll have ironed out his mistakes with real game time.

Makes a lot of sense really - with us looking to get another CM he was never going to play and the Las Palmas manager has spent a long time at Barca previously coaching so I’m sure is someone Guardiola knows and trusts

Really?

Good move to get him playing regular football in a top league.

He is clearly highly thought of, hence why we have no intention of letting him go permanently.

I agree, but he was apparently brought in as a first team option and despite us being low on personnel,he was never given a decent opportunity and has now been shipped out.

I guess, and hope, this is the start of half a dozen loans/sales for our kids in a similar situation.

I think he will be back next season in the first team squad and he will get plenty of game time.

He looks the part, never looked overawed or out of place.

Max's debut has been held up by some admin probs, but he's finally registered with LaLiga:

Unión Deportiva Las Palmas has already signed up the Argentine midfielder this Friday, who is already available for this Sunday's duel in Montilivi where he could make his debut as yellow.

Maxi Perrone is already registered in LaLiga de Fútbol Profesional and is available for this Sunday's game. This Friday, the yellow entity was able to register the '8' of the Las Palmas Sports Union after the problems that arose last week when a bureaucratic matter was not resolved from Argentina.

Sunday Girona hosts Las Palmas - lotsa City interests involved. Max, Couto, Savio, Solis ... and some ex-City names, too

came on at about 55' to play DM in a 0-0 match, played well, had a lunging goalmouth stab at a cross that didn't come off, noticeable increase in possession for LP with Max in the middle of the build up, then at about the 85' mark the LP mgr subs on a beastly Congolese MF to play DM moving Max's influence away from the action, LP proceeds to lose control of the match and the beastly Congolese MF fails and falls in the box allowing the winning goal [off a Yan Couto assist btw]

the LP mgr has no one to blame but himself, gad

Thanks for the updates. I really like Maxi as a player. I think he'll soon be standing out head and shoulders for Las Palmas.

Have high hopes for Perrone. He just looks like a Pep type midfielder. Hopefully he gets good experience and game time in Spain. On ball elegance and composure is evident but the lad has feistiness and physicality to his game as well.

Obviously he have very high football brains but his football physicality didn't match his brain yet so he need to improve it to be a really top player for us in the future.
