Pep always played him as an 8 and we're actually looking for 8's and 10's.
Based on how he's done at Como.. he's got to be ahead of McAtee at the 8.

He has another year at Como.
If he continues to play well there and get a few opportunities with the Argentina national team, he'll be here for the 2026/27 season.

Me neither until reading a few pages back. But that’s great for us as we might have space with aging players eventually leaving and him getting great experience abroad. He could slot straight in here or if we don’t get a great move based off 2 good seasons there
He has already made it clear publicly I think that he doesn't see a future at City and wants to move to Como permanently.

Talks have now been opened over the possibility of a permanent transfer between Manchester City and Como this summer concerning Maximo Perrone.
I also feel that we will regret this one but it is what it is. INTER are sniffing around. They are interested.
