That plaque was paid for by Carlsberg who were their principal sponsors at the time it was commissioned.They have a plaque that says in remembrance of the 39 supporters who lost their lives at the Heysel stadium. Pathetic club.

"Disaster" implies some kind of natural event - should be Hysel mass manslaughter, at the very least.
Nothing has changed since then, Liverpool fans en masse mithering or attacking groups of people, or individuals, just trying to do their jobs, or not interested in fighting back. When people talk about violence with them lot, it's always one sided against much weaker victims (cough). When the tables are turned, they go running off telling tales, with little understanding that their actions / behaviour very often has consequences.

I remember I liked this choreo in 2015, 30 years after the tragedy. The main "+39 / RESPECT" black banner got used for many years on the anniversary. That narrow banner that gets unfolded above the main big one says "Nobody truly dies if they live on in the hearts of those who remain, forever." And then everyone around lifted up a piece of paper with one of the names of the victims.
