37 years ago today - Heysel Disaster

I remember I liked this choreo in 2015, 30 years after the tragedy. The main "+39 / RESPECT" black banner got used for many years on the anniversary. That narrow banner that gets unfolded above the main big one says "Nobody truly dies if they live on in the hearts of those who remain, forever." And then everyone around lifted up a piece of paper with one of the names of the victims.

This should be sent to every dipper account across all social media and every news outlet

Like the Bradford fire, an outrage that was all but forgotten and largely glossed over by the media and authorities in this country.
RIP the 39 and my sympathy with all those who continue to grieve their lost loved ones to this day.
That the club and fanbase responsible will be effectively dancing on their graves this afternoon, less than 24 hours after their latest shameful episode in Europe, is utterly reprehensible but no less than we have come to expect

It beggars belief, but that city and club are so insular nothing and nobody matters or exists outside it.

Rest in peace, terrible event and deserves to be remembered especially at times like this.

Just why exactly do the British media refuse to recall this event? Are they scared of repercussions, or just not interested one bit? I would have thought today of all days it would be significant, given the events of last night.
