Unless you're as good as Yaya was.
He clearly had a passion, just very relaxed about life unless it was his birthday!

I'll always remember Bojinov, had really high hopes for the lad, he could have been amazing if not for the injuries.Hes just gonna be one of those players that kinda comes and goes without anyone really remembering he actually played for us. Scott sinclair, robert hopkins , bojinov, phillips, were they just mirages ?

Robert Hopkins was a dick. The only one I really recall being so in my time on the Kippax.Hes just gonna be one of those players that kinda comes and goes without anyone really remembering he actually played for us. Scott sinclair, robert hopkins , bojinov, phillips, were they just mirages ?

Loved the lad but let's be honest, he was as much an Italian treble winner with Inter as the subject of this thread would be with us if we pull it off this season :)We had high hopes for Balotelli too.. he was a CL and an italian treble winner before he joined us.
But that Balotelli assist to Aguero as his legacy is not bad at all!
And we'll always have:
But Pep said he doesn’t want his DM running to much. Poor Kalvin doesn’t know which way to turnHuge difference is that those who have struggled to settle still put a shift in. Kalvin barely moves. When he came on against Leicester he was trotting about. The game was won when he came on, but they created enough in the second half to have at least got a draw. At one point Dias was following the runner and pointing to Maddison to show Phillips to track him. Kalvin jogged behind him and watched as he had a shot on goal, which luckily went near post and Ederson saved it.
That's absolutely unforgivable and Pep now knows he can't play him as cover for Rodri. He would have thought it after the Saints loss in the league cup, but given him the benefit of the doubt. But after that performance he's got no chance. That's why we had Gundo covering for Rodri instead on Saturday. That's a game Phillips should be starting, but with no effort in his play Pep couldn't do it.
We could have been bringing Lavia through this season. Pep rightly thought we could do with someone who knew the league and had experience in big games. Which Kalvin has from playing for England. And he's played well it must be said.
I don't mind him lacking a bit of quality as he's been out for a while and it's tough role, but the lack of fight and graft is unacceptable.
Idiomatically and literally...But Pep said he doesn’t want his DM running to much. Poor Kalvin doesn’t know which way to turn
