So based on the evidence thus far Phillips hasn’t had hardly any game time and when Rodri didn’t play he used Gundogan in that position before Phillips. I think we can say we have a very good idea of what he thinks of Phillips.
I agree that Phillip's first season has been something of a disaster but I think there's plenty of previous evidence (Rodri, Zinchenko, Grealish to an extent, and many more) to suggest that a first season under Pep is a tough thing, and you almost have to accept that the first season could go any direction, form wise, for any player.

Give everyone that 2nd season, everyone.

Even his Leeds level is way below what's required at city. Sooner he leaves the better so we can get someone who might actually contribute to the team.

How many hand on heart thought when we signed him? "what the fuck". Wouldn't have been on too many wish lists.
I thought 'good, steady back-up to Rodri who can ping passes all over the place.'

It was a very difficult role to fill,and I thought he was exactly the level and quality to do do.It seems I gave him far too much credit in the character department though.
