what did we buy him for 25-27 million if £40 million is true that's a brilliant return if we sell him!

done an unbelievable job for us and helped us to were we are now but he wants to go id say take the offer nobody else will get anywhere near it well i would be surprised if anybody else does!

Well its not brilliant as it doesn't reflect his influence and improvement in the 2 years we had him.
Top scorer over 2 seasons in the toughest league in th eworld is about as good an improvement as you could possibly get.
Measure that against Torres sale and the general prices banded about, yes im aware of the differences in each deal, timing, aggresive aproaches etc etc but over all its not bad, not great but not bad.

Realistic would be 60m if you look at Torres and Ronaldo deals. But his baggage has knocked 20-25m of that.

Defo need a sell on clause if he comes back to the prem or Spain, Italy.

What the hell does that mean? £20m + £20m of TV rights, after 1000 appearances, after 2000 goals or what?

£40m - £50m is the going rate whether the player wants it or not.

Mr Sanchez no deal. If he wants to negotiate lets start talking at £40m with add ons not deals up to £40m!

Listen, if Carlos really wanted to push this forward,he could use his accumulated millions,£20 million alone off City,and put it towards the transfer,apparently,Corinthians have just signed a mega deal with some S.American TV company a la sky for £50 mill per year,plus he is a megastar in S.America,worth a bundle to any club signing him,I think we will end up getting £45 mill for him,that means we break even,everybody's happy,and we can thank Carlos for his sterling efforts on the pitch,but say goodbye to the puppetmaster that is Kia.(an i don't mean the car co.)
