Hardly burn out. Pep didn't do that to Messi at same age. Last season, Phil was up to 28 out of 38 but not so many starting. Every time the media raved about Phil, Pep benched him. The guy is now 21. It's scandalous how under-used he has been. Pep's team selections recently have been bizarre, costing us 2 trophies and losing some credibility. Time that Pep learned to manage himself better.

He is being let down by both managers in fairness, his ability and desire are plain for all to see. If ever a player should have a team built around him it’s Foden. Between Pep and waistcoat wanker they are great at not starting him, subbing him, moving him around and generally not getting him on the ball enough.

Waistcoats entire half time instructions should have been give the ball to Foden and benefit from his ability to create space for you.
 
A horse named Foden about to run in the 7.50 at Lingfield tonight and it’s 9/4 fav, just stuck a cheeky fiver on it.
 
Shrek has shared his managerial pearls of wisdom in the Mail , stating Foden should be dropped for England because he can only play the Man City way as a number nine or number ten and cannot play out wide , he wants Sancho or Grealish in the starting lineup and Foden on the bench.
No wonder the Grannyshagger is no mangerial genius , almost relegsting Derby to the first division at his first attempt, he obviously doesnt watch our games , because Foden has probably been more effective playing on the left in place of Sterling , in fact the failure to do so probably cost us the Champs league.

He also said Phil can't dribble ?, Jesus I must get to Specsavers . Why not address the real issue where he doesnt wan t a Man City player in the team. Absolute tosser

Rooney was a flop on the international stage. Another one from the so-called Golden generation that didn't win a single trophy for England, or even get close. Rooney spends a lot of his time stumbling drunkenly round hotels these days. His tactical opinion on football has no value.
The backlash against Foden has started with the former Rags players leading the way. What a joke English football is at a national level and the media are one of the biggest problems.

Neville...another total flop as a manager. He was a very limited player who got a lot of games at United but was often exposed at international level and in the Champions League. He played virtually all his career in a rigid 442 formation where he had a very simple role. The problem with the UK media is that people like him end up as pundits and they are treated as if they are some sort of experts. The fact that Southgate plays Foden as a very wide right winger tells you all you need to know about Southgate's lack of managerial skills.
 
Mismanaged and used as a easy first sub in games. Played out of position to placate others. Southgate is a soft touch and is taking the easy way out. 2 holding midfielders against Scotland??? The mind boggles.
 
Can't believe he took him off when the game was opening up, he was actually coming off the wing in search of the ball as James was more interested in passing it back to Stones
