I hope so. It seems Pep has been saving him for united, which makes me think he might play him as a false 9 (where he can run his spuds off). If he's not playing there then I hope he's up against wan bissaka instead of sterling

Especially considering the hole he tore in Wan Bisakka in the cup has only just healed. Who decides not to play a die hard blue with his quality in the bloody derby?

Just dont get why he didn't start in the derby. He was rested midweek. It was crying out for this passion. Needed him today.

He definitely makes bissaka work harder. Shame he didn’t start. Had a chance to score as well. Just unlucky.

Still scratching my head around why he didn't start.

1. Rested. Check.

2. Toasted Wan Bissaka in his last game against them. Check.

3. Sterling has struggled against Wan Bissaka every single time he went against him. Check.

Surely he starts then (and why I made the comment before this game). But still no.

I can't defend Pep here. And while I understand rotation with regards to Bernardo, we had more rest than United for this game.
