You're right, he's well better than Iniesta.

That turn, run and no-look assist to Gundogan is what makes me excited for him playing in midfield.

Winger is where the minutes are right now, but I hope he'll get more minutes as a false 9 or midfielder in the future, even just at LW having more freedom centrally would work.

Soon they’ll be referring to Iniesta as the Fuentealbilla Foden.

If we had to pick a strongest eleven he would be in the team , he probably starts 75% of our games now but we still hear pundits quoting bollocks about game time , you cannot expect any player to start 60 games a season.
Pep has managed his career superbly the only downside is when he doesnt pick the local lad for a derby game , criminal.

It’s because he‘s still readily dropped for key games, including a derby. The latter decision, in favour of an out-of-sorts player who‘s proven shit in derby matches, was an insult to the lad as well as the wrong decision for the team.

He may well be managed effectively on an overall basis but has always been further down Pep’s pecking order than that of his advocates on this forum.

Deep inside they defo wished Foden was plying his trade and kissing the badge of one of the other red clubs. Drives a knife through their hearts knowing Foden is City through-and-through.

True , they can blow the smoke up the backside of Greenwood , Trent Darby , Grealish , Smith-Rowe , Saka , and a few others but Phil is the real deal he has everything in his locker and he plays for the home town club he loves and support.
