Never seen David show that turn of pace and leave to players in his wake. Silva was more subtle than that they are completely different players in that respect.
I meant that eye of the needle threaded pass to Gundogan was Silva-esque... I know Foden is a completely different beast, in fact it's hard to find a comparison for him.

No look pass, fantastic.

Anyone who thinks Foden should not be starting every big game needs to give their head a wobble, he is absolutely key to us now.

He is actually keeping Sterling out of the team now and doing so on merit.

Best compliment I can pay him is he plays his game like he's still in the schoolyard with his mates. He has no fear, everything he does is natural and comes so easy to him.
I'd like to thank him for making me fall in love with the game again because I'd faltered a fair bit over the last 12 months.

Literally the only thing stopping us from starting him every game is the risk of burnout/injury.

It's clear he makes our best 11 on ability/form.

We need to continue managing his game time carefully despite the temptation of playing him as much as more senior players.

That's not saying he hasn't had a lot of game time this season - he clearly has - but that 4 or 5 starts in a row (every 3 days) might still be a step too far while he's still growing.

If we had to pick a strongest eleven he would be in the team , he probably starts 75% of our games now but we still hear pundits quoting bollocks about game time , you cannot expect any player to start 60 games a season.
Pep has managed his career superbly the only downside is when he doesnt pick the local lad for a derby game , criminal.
