Indeed. One of my faves was that goal away at Chelsea. It slipped under the radar a bit because of KDB’s work in the build-up but the finish from Foden was terrific, slotting it in at the near post when there was very little room between keeper and post to aim at. I’ve noticed he scores a fair few goals by placing them at the near post rather than going across the keeper. Like the one the other night of course. It’s some skill to keep doing it as like I said there’s usually less space to aim for.It means from the quality of chances Foden has had, he is expected to have scored 6.8 goals. The fact that Foden has scored 13 highlights how clinical he is.
