Played well at England vs Swiss. His smart pressing set up the 1st goal. Linked very well with Grealish when he came on. Foden&Grealish are clearly a level better of ball control than the rest of England team.

Peps badly misusing him now, persisting with him as the false 9 benefits nobody. He's wasted there. He's barely touching the ball, how can having possibly your most dangerous player on the ball having the least amount of touches be a good idea? I get he's the best of an ill fitting bunch of options there but it's not enough of a difference between him there and somebody else to warrant not having him on the wing where he causes havoc and is substantially better than any other option we have out there.
The same starting 11 today would have been much better if foden was left and Grealish upfront. Not going to get much worse from Grealish upfront but we get a lot better from foden on the left. He has torn Liverpool apart from the flanks over the last 2 seasons, I'm praying Pep goes back to that next week.
