Struggled as a striker today just not his position , but he gave everything and kept their defence busy with his pressing and his througball to Grealish near the end was sublime

Yeah never his position in a million years but the overall tactics worked a treat

Wasn't picked to play up front to score, it was to keep hold of the ball and he did it well.

The false 9 is always going to see less of the ball, that's part of the role, he did his role today very well and I do think he's the best option as the false 9 but couldn't help but think foden should have come over to the left today. felt he could have caused serious damage down that flank if he were in the positions others found themselves in. I'd switch him out there vs liverpool

Seems foden never get played in his rightful position because he is that good! He did a job up top but a player like Foden need to be on the ball more! Could of tried switching Kdb and foden positions maybe?

I thought the same thing when he first started playing left wing.

Really believe this lad can be whatever he wants if he works hard. On his way to being England’s most decorated player, absolutely love the lad and to think he grew up round the corner, madness.
