He wasn't bad tbf.

Had a big part in the second goal in the first half, scored a goal in the second half. He was full of pressing and running throughout. He contributed more than enough to the team, to justify his selection over the alternatives.

It's mad how some players are held to the standards that they are(makes it worse with players as young as Foden, where ups and downs in form are expected), they have to run the game or they "played shite".

He blew hot and cold as the rest of our front players. Can not be harsh on him or other attackers for that matter after scoring 04 goals.

When he first broke through it did seem like Phil was a great finisher, but there's a few big misses starting to rack up now. I dont think he played badly apart from the misses though, he had highs and lows like everyone else.

I think it started last season. He's got a weird technique of deliberately dragging his shots but I don't know if that's got anything to do with it. I feel like he maybe needs to start varying his approach for one on ones. Maybe it's the only type of finish he feels comfortable with when he's hitting them from the left hand side of the goal.

Yeah his misses are often very similar shots, I’ve noticed that too

I think the one that came to him off the post in the second half, he should have brought it under control first. I suppose it's hard to tell how much time he had in slow motion. He got a clean connection on it(and got it on target), considering how the ball was coming at him with some travel on it, at least.

Yes first half. Second half one was harder as he along with 90% of the crowd probably thought that Mahrez couldn’t possibly miss from there!
