Pep will not be impressed, 2 opportunities in successive games when he should have passed to Haaland.

Expect better from Phil he has set such high standards so no excuses for his failure to provide Haaland with tap-ins , Pep will be on his case , quite sure all the players will soon get used to playing with a striker , once the team wake up to Haalands potential he will get a goal a game , he is a diamond of a player.

A scary thing is Haaland is already getting one goal a game. He could easily have scored 6-7 goals if he scores today's tap in, the 2 Foden's mistakes and the tap in against Liverpool. Yeah I don't really understand all the complaints from everybody about this action.There was a defender there and the goalie. I don't think it was an easy pass when you're running at full pelt
I think overall, Foden had a bad game imo.
But this instance? Running full speed, defender clearly block the path, perhaps he COULD have had tried to pass through his legs or cutback and try to pass, but if that failed, he might have regretted just not shooting, it's not a clear cut as some think.

But they didn't, Foden should have passed to Haaland end of. We all know Foden is an amazing talent, but in this situation when there is player in a better position to score he needs to pass to them.Would Pep have been impressed if both opportunities ended up in the onion bag?

If we’d made it 0-2 there, I think we would have gone on to win that game comfortably.
