Needs to be playing as an 8.
Sick of seeing him on the ‘wing’ for club and country.
For England last week v Belgium, Wastecoat played him ‘left wing’ but moved him into the middle for 10 mins where he looked great. We then brought Madderson on and Phil was shoved back wide !

Seem to be looking for a KDB replacement. There will never be such. Foden has his qualities. Future is the middle/behind the striker/roaming.

He drifts whenever he’s on the wing.

He’s played quite a number of games. He’s young and recovery should be quick but when the injuries were piling, he was the one putting in performances for weeks. No surprise he looked a bit off today.

why is pep obsessed with playing Foden as an inverted left winger with Josko holding the width vs Arsenal? He did it twice this season and we did not win either - Foden was not himself in either of the game. He put Foden in the left half space twice vs RB leipzig and it was also bad until he made a sub to move Foden to the right half space/middle. Foden immediately played 10 times better.

It is bluntly obvious that foden should play on the right facing big teams - either as a midfielder or an inverted right winger with Walker holding width. So he can shot with his strong foot.

If it means that you can only start two of Bernado Kev and Foden then let's be it. Start the most in form two.

He’s deffo had better afternoons. I’m sure England duties didn’t help though - his usual ‘spark’ seemed absent this afternoon.
