Seems to have lost thr ability to have any impact from the wing now that hrs getting a taste for a central role. It might not be his ideal position but he has to be doing more when out there. Very quiet and even his touch was off, came into it for a short period second half but not enough. He's been fantastic all season so can't be too critical.

Probably the worst i've ever seen him play. Whether he likes being out on the right or not, he has to do more when he's played there. He's been very good this year though, but this was a fucking mason mount like disappearing act.

You could say he could still do more from the right and it would be a fair point but I still don't see any sense starting him from the right anymore. You've got an absolute diamond there and making him play out wide just makes him not even half the player.

He's a serious goal threat these days and can take the ball so well that he can turn a half chance into something, surely that's what you need in the middle in such a tight affair?

Obviously Pep knows far more than I ever will but for me he's completely wasted playing near the touchline.

Real Madrid will cut in the middle easily if starting Kev and Phil together in midfield - with Rodri not in his best form.

poor game. nothing came off of him. not sure if Doku can try to beat his defender or try at least why foden did not try on the right in first half?

Mendy had like an easy game compared to Carvajal who had to deal with Grealish then Doku.

for real, he struggled to make simple reads. an average foden is probably enough to see us through. its his time though, gotta show up and prove hes the man

Wasn't on it maybe it's fatigue don't know he needs to be the foden where he is taking the game to a team like he has most of the season maybe with Kdb in the team he is letting him do that and he just keeps it simple
