Don't know why my brain led me down this path on a Monday morning but Phil has a shot to break the all time appearance record with the club.
He has 269 across all comps. Alan Oakes holds the record with 680. So with 411 to go to take the record (assuming he plays the cup this weekend), thats about another 9 seasons if he keeps averaging ~45 matches a season.
Probably has a chance at all time top goalscorer too!

Anyone other than me had a laugh by reading this thread from the beginning?
Said a few years ago that I don't think he'll be reaching his potential until he's getting at least 20 a season. Feels like I've set the bar a bit low now.
He's got another couple of levels to go up yet.

Scary to think that he's still not the age that Silva or Kev were when they joined us and that he, like those players, still has a gear or two or more to go up.
