47 | Phil Foden - 2024/25

Remember when blues said that he was better than Saka?

The fact is, he hasn't kicked on at all this season, and last season looks like a flash in the pan.

Currently playing for us as he does for England.

Another one who ducked out of a 50/50 with Mainoo in the first half.
Hasn't kicked on this season but almost single handedly won us the league last year and won himself the ultimate personal honour. What has Saka achieved, his own sauce at Nandos?

He is much better than Saka. Form is temporary.

I don't see how 5 years of top class performances is a flash in the pan but if you want to rewrite history go for it.

Rodri was at least as good and Haaland scored more goals. Apart from that, Foden won us the title almost single handedly.

Not so sure mate, be lucky if he gets in England squad never mind 11 at the minute. Saka is a shoe in to start every game as is Palmer and Bellingham, leaving Foden way out of the picture.

But he didn't single handedly win us the league - our best and most consistent player was Rodri. And KDB also had a big part to play in the 2nd half of the season. Without them, Foden hasn't managed to do anything of note which is worrying.

my big problem with him is he doesnt really look at creating anything. he does well when gets into shooting chances mostly outside the box, but him setting up winger or a striker for a goal seems to be so rare match situation in open play.

he aint a David Silva or KDB replacement long time for sure. we do need a creator who is and assist machine. I doubt we ever gonna have someone as good in this as KDB tho.

Wirtz have now the closest chance potential wise for this.

Dined out off being part of a fantastic squad of players, but the minute the going gets tough he seems to duck.

Haaland and Foden are the only two top class players we have that are of an age where they should be dragging us through games, or at least taking them by the scruff of the neck.

I'd say both were completely anonymous today.

I’d argue he won us the league last season. When’s saka done that?

What is it with these ridiculously over the top reactions. Flash in the pan! Come off it
