I got one of these updates amongst an increasingly toxic facebook feed, source was Nigeria and a lot of effort made to get this sick message across.

It was upsetting as a fans chuff knows how Fodens family felt reading this garbage.

I assume the clicks earn money .

I'm rationing social media to the innocent pleasure of quick clips of Cherkis magic!

He’s already surpassed Silva and Yaya in team and individual honours.

Some serious revisionism going on with suggesting they never had bad games.

Silva and Yaya were both great players and when Phil is on blob he is an exceptional player who any team would love to have.

What deeper position? He is still playing the 10 and just getting the ball from deeper like most 10‘s do? When exactl did he play deeper?

No he hasn't. quite a few games he's dropped deeper into more of an 8.

Don't know how well it came across on TV but Foden's work rate was unbelievable, especially 2nd half, constantly closing players down.

He may not have the G/A to reflect but he’s absolutely instrumental to everything good we do. Definitely matured this season, i think he's an 8 personally.

Worked very hard in that midfield and unlucky not to get a goal with the ball across from Nico OR. Very exciting to see him and Cherki blossoming together

Did really well to back up and find space then turn and slip it through to Nico OR for his goal.

Great to see 2 City lads having such an impact on the team. Proud to be blue
