Absolutely true, and Stones' performance wasn't perfect, he had his own hairy moments.

But I think it's actually probably easier to play well in a well-oiled machine of a defence where everyone's being sensible and reliable than it is to play well in a generally shambolic performance where everyone else seems to have left their brains at home.

He did well, with little help from those around him.
