I’m not surprised after last seasons schedule

Pep has confirmed he will be out until after the international break, so West Ham.

Hopefully several of our international players will be "injured" and unable to go on national duty.

Rodri and Ruben particularly.

The number of injuries after last season is perhaps unsurprising. Our reliance on a small squad enabled us to win the treble, yet we now appear to be reaping the consequences. Stones’ absence can be compensated for until the schedule becomes busier, but we’re either going to have to use the squad fully this year or nurse players slowly back to health and then not overuse them when they’re ready.
