But I like all our players and root for them. There isn’t one I slag off.

Had some concerns he was being brought in to a high pressure situation that would just aggravate whatever injury he’s been carrying but he was immense at slowing the game down some and helping us keep control. If we can get Dias and Ake fit, he should take Rodri’s role to give Kovacic and Gundo some rest.

I wish they could stay fit.

Many of our problems come from their injuries and overplaying other defenders. Instead of being happy about the availability of Akanji and Gvardiol , some posters are too critical of their performances.

Which is what I mean. If they were fit, along with Ruben, we would not be in this position.

I don’t care if he’s never fit enough to play 90. He’s exactly the type of player we need to come on at the end and steady the ship. We absolutely need that type of leadership and maturity when everyone is getting a little ragged.
