A few banners at the Villa match? "Cook out" or "You don't know what you're doing" chants?
OR SOME GOLD AND YELLOWS. FFS I DESPAIR SOMETIMES.

I was being slightly flippant but if enough people are annoyed about this then they should make sure they get the message across. What's wrong with that in your eyes?

surely pbibs you cant think its fair making people move and charging them extra for doing so?
I can totally understand people being pissed off having to move, but it is not the end of the world. With the rumoured redevelopment of the stadium this would have to happen anyway. To be honest if this thread is a majority view of the fans then it wouldnt surprise me if the Sheik thought fuck this, i cant be arsed with this whinging lot and lets us live in the shadow of the red filth forever.

-- Thu Apr 22, 2010 2:05 am --

I lived through years of the depressing swales out shit and saw it almost destroy our club. To think that, in our position, with the exciting future we have just over the horizon that people would start some sort of campaign because of this reorganisation within the ground beggars belief.

I don't sit in the north stand, doesn't bother me but for the people that do i think you should refuse to renew and see what the club do, make them aware of how you feel about it, the club monitoring this thread won't do out, you need to get together and sort something out with the club properly.

If i was told i was being shifted from block 122 where i have been comfortable and somewhere i have always been at the CoMS, then having to pay more money as a result, i'd tell them to shove it.

True blue if ever there was one.

My initial reaction is that I can live with a 6% rise in ticket prices. At worst this is something like a £40 rise on the most expensive season ticket.

The problem is that if you’re buying season tickets for the family, then you will feel it more.

But I suppose at some point we had to expect the club to get back some of the money it has spent just my opinion......

What I think stinks is the way the club are going to force people to move seats.

Many people on this thread have used the phrase "prawn Sandwich brigade". The club has to realise that lots of us are worried about our future as fans. there is a genuine fear amongst some of us that the very people who have supported the club through all the shit of the last 30 years, The real working class average Joe , will be pushed out to make way for the corporate with massive wallets.

So when a bold move is made by the club that directly effects fans, the fear is going to turn into anger because we DONT FEEL LIKE WE WERE LISTENED TO!

We wanted a kippax - they gave us a family stand
We wanted better food - they put fucking sultanas in the balti
we wanted KAKA - we got RSC (tongue in cheek before anybody moans)

Seriously if the club do read this thread, please understand that WE are the fans who stuck by the club when we were playing the likes of YORK away. OUR support got the club back to where it should be. We appreciate the investment, We are thankful for our solid financial situation but please please remember that City’s history is its supporters. We are not here for the glory (although a bit would be nice) we are here because we love our club and we are proud of our club. If you push the loyal fan away then your destroy everything city has stood for

Dear,

any club official at city browsing BM,

read this above post,

regards.

Im sorry , I forgot that sometimes you have to spell it out. I was no swales fan. However, the unrest on the terraces destroyed team morale and almost destroyed the club. I presumed most people would have understood my point. Obviously you are a little tired, or maybe just stupid.

No need to resort to supercilious insults.

The unrest stemmed from Swales's financial incompetence (unable to afford Trevor Francis's wages when he was putting 8,000 on the gate being a prime example) and the decision to bring back Allison.

the few years after that with Franny were more depressing and came closer to destroying us.

Those problems were the direct result of Swales's legacy.

Because it was a false dawn, and yes I agree it was very upsetting. Thank god for kinky, thats all I can say. This, I believe, is not a false dawn.

-- Thu Apr 22, 2010 2:33 am --

OK , sorry for calling you stupid but you said I was "incorrect" because you failed to see the overall meaning of my post. Just tired then maybe :-)
