6% increase

It will be interesting to see what the policy is for non-ST holders in terms of where they are allowed to sit. If they allow an adult City Card holder to get a ticket in the North Stand they risk seriously pissing off those that have been forced to move. But if they do not allow people to buy tickets in there without having a kid with them I can see the North Stand being half empty come the early rounds of the Carling Cup.

The same that has ALWAYS happened, you have to move out of the Family Stand.

Yes .. but where to ?? .. if as anticipated we are in chumps or better players /cups the s/t will soon disappear.. then what ??
ie . no seats to move to.
or fragmented familys all over the staduim if there lucky

Your too quick for me Baz, I edited my response after re reading your original post.

I mentioned thats why we will have to extend the stadium, as there is room now , but in the future there won't be.

so in the everton programme it said prices would remain the same...... are we turning in to old trafford no. 2...yes i know they are the same, but in effect they have removed the discount, of course i ll pay but many wont be able to, never mind city theres plenty of recent glory hunters to fill their vacated seats, welcome to old trafford no. 2

Although many of us, including myself will pay on average £20 more next season, people should recall a thread I started couple months back.

There is a detailed document which has been compiled by the owners since before Christmas.

The long-term plan linked to stadium expansion is the circa £200 season-ticket.

City have given an indicator of this with the introduction of the ValueCard for next season at £250 - £13 a game.

Albeit, only a few thousand of these will be made available, the current stadium capacity hamstrings them for a little while longer.

My own take is this is still a PR own goal. If they can make it £13 a game for certain seats, £95 for kids, their future goals should be ready to go now?

Blackburn already prove that gate money is secondary behind TV monies.

For many though its not necessarily the money situation. Its the high handed way that the club is forcing us to move our seats.

All on the site now and all of you that slagged the club should hang youre heads in shame.

Some dont fucking deserve what you're being given!

True. If you ever work in retail you'll soon find out that customers will moan about prices, regardless of anything else.

After a quick look at the OS it would seem that the club has actually listened and acted on the wants of supporters. Faster beer dispensers and improved catering, a boisterous section behind the goals and encouragement to bring banners etc have all been called for by us and now we're getting it.

All we need now is a standing and smoking section and i might become a regular again.

People on here still dont get it. ...............

This is not a moan about cost whilst that is a factor its about the fact that those of us in the North Stand who have been season ticket holders at Platt Lane and now at CoMS are being asked to move for no good reason. I tell you what then all thoose in SS Level 1 should be evicted to accomodate all those who want to move from the North Stand.

They can move to the ES or CB STAND level 3 how would they feel then......

I like many others have been hit pretty hard by the rises, having to pay an extra £45 for my son in the south stand and also the increase for me.
But to be fair to the club the season card rates still offer great value for money, and especially as we still dont know which stars will be coming and going next year.
I have a round trip of 250 miles to watch the games,so by the time i get there is all i want to do is get to mary Ds meet with the lads a few beers take in the atmosphere off to game then who knows what might happen.
The one thing iam going to be pissed off with next year if they dont get it right this time, is the absolute shite and i mean the worst bars and catering in english football, every time i go somebody is being wound up by the ineptitude of not onlythe staff there, but the facilities, they are no were near adequate. No wonder there as been more trouble at the bars this year than there as been for many.Lets just see if they have listened to the fans this time!
