Solid , wasnt impressed with him last season but totally different animal this season has taken his chance and now Mr.Dependable , another player who has taken 12 months to integrate into our system and is now showing his true worth
 
City most improved player for me this season. Doesn’t look out of place and as all our players comes over as a decent humble fella
 
Like Zinchenko, a valuable club player who rarely lets us down. Don’t forget he is a regular in the Netherlands national side, great player and apparently a real asset in the dressing room
 
Really impressed with him again today. Another player who has got used to the system and getting a run of games. Deserves more minutes next season.
 
What do Emi Buendia, Edinson Cavani, Jack Grealish, Alex Iwobi, Lucas Moura, Wout Weghorst, Thiago, Dele Alli, Miguel Almiron, Nicolas Pepe, Anthony Martial and Paul Pogba have in common?

None of them have scored more PL goals this season than our 4th choice centre-back...

Apart from TheFinestDutchPlayerEver Nathan has become more and more dependable. You can't ask one jot more from someone in the back four - and another bonus, the goal!

Thought it was a toss up at half time between him and Sterling for MOTM and was delighted for him when he scored.
Has fitted in very well lately
 
Hopefully just a niggle, his cameo appearances towards the end of this season have been excellent.

The next 2 I'm not too worried about but we might need a cameo from him for Wolves (A) or West Ham (A).

Fully agree. The last time I had an 'anxiety spike' was Brentford away when he started at left back and was immense. Not put a foot wrong since whether as a starter or a cameo of the bench.
Big goal yesterday and a tidy finish.
 
Another impressive performance from Ake, really proving he is a very capable and versatile defender. Great finish for the goal, hopefully not a serious injury.

Was very pleased when we signed Ake.
very good and underrated player.
I think he is better than a cameo player and will be interesting to see next season.
