Never had an injury before joining us and now constantly injured. Needs to get back on the inhalers!!

That’s this injury but he’s been injured regularly since joining

Having never been injured at all at Bournemouth. Not much use being a backup if you can't be relied upon, sadly. We bought him because we didn't trust Laporte's fitness but as it turns out Aymeric has thankfully been fit nearly all season while Nathan has really struggled

Shame because Aké has been excellent when called upon this season

He had the long injury last season , that is it i think , they all get niggles when they return from a long injury , doesnt make him injury prone

You did also say never from incidents in the game , this current injury was a bad landing during a game..

Was bossing Lukaku before he went off. I wonder if a bid comes in for him.

With rumours of the possible departure of Laporte and ongoing Johnny Boulders injury problems it seems ludicrous to consider letting Ake leave unless he is adamant he wants to go. Top player with lots of premiership experience and convinced most doubters at the end of last season, give him a new contract and some playing time Pep

The situation with Ake is a strange one.

Sat on the bench when we had serious CB/FB issues at the end of the season, rumours that he was carrying an injury, yet within 10 days of the end of the season is playing for his country.

A falling out/ lack of trust with Pep?

Ake certainly impressed last season when he played. Very good back up, but with our injury record in central defence and the number of games spread across all competitions, if he stays he will start plenty of matches. I hope he stays.
