Perfect inverted fullback. Great going forward but always dodgy defending.You guys watch Cancelo all the time so I don’t know what his form this season has been like but I’m still surprised you’d let him go on loan. He was the best full back in the league a year or two ago.
Had a stellar season last years but has dropped off a cliff this year. His only decent games have been Utd and Southampton at home and the emergence of Lewis at right back and Ake at left back have seriously limited his appearances.
Apparently he had a proper hissy fit last week after not being selected to start against wolves

What’s his favoured position?it's true, Pep does not fuck about and if a player over steps the mark or steps out of line he's GONE,
but also Cancelo was used as a cover in the left back slot ? not his normal role but was happy to play there,
Now here is the rub, how many times in the Big games did he get found wanting ? Salah and Liverpool had him in his pocket every time, the truth is simple he is not a left back and maybe just got sick of getting blamed for big losses because pep had no over choice at left back,
